Adults 18 years and older who meet income guidelines, and who have had an unpredictable expense (car repair, catastrophic event such as fire, death in the family, furnace needing repair, furnace red-tagged, high fuel costs, house repair, illness, income reduced, loss of employment, medical expenses) or who are experiencing extreme cold weather temperatures. ShareHeat is for CVPS customers only. Individuals who have not yet applied for State of Vermont Seasonal Fuel Assistance, may receive Crisis Fuel assistance on one occasion only.

Shut off notice or information about the energy supplier, including account numbers. For all household members: Expense receipts and pay stubs for the last 30 days; verification of SSI, Reach Up, 3Squares; verification of all unearned income; Social Security numbers of all household members
