Women who are pregnant, think they may be pregnant, or who have young children can access compassionate support in a safe environment. Those immediately impacted by a pregnancy, including other children, partners, and immediate family members are also eligible to receive services, as appropriate. Clients are seen in confidential, one-on-one sessions to give information, peer support, and community resources and other referrals such as pregnancy confirmation, prenatal care, housing, and emergency assistance. Boca Helping Hands (BHH) is a community-based 501(c)(3) organization that serves a hot meal (6) days a week and offers a Thursday Night Family Dinner. Qualifying Palm Beach County residents can register for the Pantry Bag Program. The Resource Center provides limited financial assistance to qualifying Boca Raton residents of 1 year or more. Limited financial assistance includes utilities (FPL and/or water), limited rental assistance and funds through our Children's Assistance Program (CAP) for summer camp and after-school/day care for working parents. - Utilities: For assistance with utilities, clients must have a 3-day disconnect notice. Financial assistance does not cover deposits or re-connection fees. - Rental: For assistance with rent, clients must have a 3-day eviction notice. - CAP: For assistance with Children's Assistance Program, funds are provided to qualifying children whose parents are employed.
