Facilitates the Rental Subsidy Program for the City of Del Mar (Does NOT offer immediate emergency funds for rent payment or security deposit). There is currently multi-year wait list for a vacancies. Preference is given to low-income households of two or more, as well as low-income elderly and/or disabled individuals who live and work in Del Mar. The Program is similar to a Section 8 housing program where a portion of the rent is paid on behalf of the families directly to their landlords however, the agency does not accept section 8 vouchers or transfers from other parts of the county.
