(WIC) Women, Infants and Children -Supplemental Feeding and Nutrition Program provides food vouchers allowing them to purchase milk, eggs, cheese, juice and iron fortified cereals and formula. The WIC coordinator provides nutrition education and counseling to all program participants on a monthly basis. Career Closet serves, loss from fire or water damage, income eligible men and women who are completing job training and education programs and seeking employment. Job seekers may obtain, at no cost, work appropriate clothing for their job interviews. Food Pantry:Monthly food distribution is offered to assist food insecure households. Individuals/Families in need of food assistance may come to our pantry once a month. When you arrive, our staff will help you select food that you/your family will enjoy. The amount of food you receive is based on your family size. It is helpful (but not required) if you bring with you any re-useable bags that you may have. LIHEAP is designed to help income-eligible clients meet the ever-increasing cost of heating and reduce energy burden.Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a seasonal program that normally runs from October-April.
