Rental assistance is provided in the form of financial assistance to household in an immediate housing crisis. Financial assistance up to $1500 for a household, and $1000 for an individual may be available.This assistance can pay for the families first month’s rent, a security deposit and/or back rent due to a property owner in order to secure safe housing for the family affected. Actual payments are dependent upon many factors, including, but not limited to: funds available, circumstance leading to the crisis, past assistance received by the household, amount needed to solve the emergency, etc.
