Free or inexpensive clothing, depending on need; emergency food box that feeds four people for four days; utility and rent/mortage assistance; emergency shelter for one night; housekeeping basics; gasoline for transients; coordination with local churches to assist persons in emergency situations; referrals to other agencies as needed.

PURPOSE: To provide donated for sale items at minimal cost to people in our community so the proceeds can be used to accomplish the mission of Matthews HELP Center (Emergency Crisis Assistance). Clients of Matthews HELP Center shop free of charge. SERVICES: To bring a sense of community through donated items being used to help fund Emergency Crisis Assistance to people in need who reside in the Matthews community and surrounding areas.
