WEATHERIZATION can reduce energy costs for a long period of time; some typical weatherization measures that may be done to your home include sidewall and attic insulation; infiltration work (caulking and weather stripping around doors and windows and glass repair); repair/replacement of furnace or heating unit

WEATHERIZATION EXPANSION PROJECT may assist with roof repair or replacement and foundation repair in areas with a population of 10,000 or less

COMMODITY SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM (CSFP) provides foods purchased and distributed by the USDA to: infants up to the twelfth month of age; children from age one up to the sixth birthday; women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, and/or who have had a baby within the last year; and seniors who are sixty and over

FOOD PANTRY provided on an emergency basis; after a client access the pantry three times in one year they will receive one-on-one budgeting assistance in order to receive anymore food pantries in a 12 month period

NEBRASKA HOMELESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM provides financial assistance to qualifying individuals and families with partial one month payment of a security deposit, utility deposit, past due rent, past due mortgage or past due utility; along with the partial financial assistance, customers also receive one on one support

EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER PROGRAM provides financial assistance to help customers with a partial one month past due utility or one month past due rent, resulting from an emergency; deposits are excluded from this funding

HOMELESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE-HOUSING PROGRAM (HPRP) focuses on housing stabilization through temporary assistance that serves as a bridge to long-term stability; provides homelessness prevention assistance to households who would otherwise become homeless and assistance to rapidly re-house persons who are homeless

CHILD PASSENGER SERVICES provides infant seats, toddler seats and booster seats are provided to income eligible clients for a nominal fee; car seats are installed and child safety seat education is provided to clients by trained technicians

TAX PREPARATION for low income individuals/families and senior citizens (60 & over); Family Service Coordinators are trained to help prepare tax forms and/or answer tax questions; all offices are equipped to e-file, and coordinators also assist with Homestead Exemption preparation; no self-employed or farm returns are prepared
