Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry

Contact
1016 Spruce St
Hagerstown, MD 21740
(866) 438-3434

Description
FHFH exists to serve the Lord Jesus Christ by feeding the hungry. In the Bible, Isaiah the prophet and Jesus himself lift up feeding the hungry as one of the traits of those who have given their hearts to the Lord. Nutritious red meat is the most-needed item at food banks and feeding ministries nationwide. FHFH pays to have deer and other big-game donated by hunters processed, packaged and frozen by licensed meat cutters. The meat, which is high in protein and low in fat, is distributed free of charge to the food banks and feeding ministries that serve the poor nationwide.

FHFH operates local programs in over 25 states nationwide. Local coordinators work with local meat processors and food banks, and oversee the fundraising and promotional campaign for their area. FHFH local programs are supported financially by individuals, churches, businesses, clubs, and other organizations in their area.
