Will assist people who are in public housing. Do not have to be MEAP eligible. For eviction prevention assistance, must have a court notice signed by a judge stating the eviction can occur. - - 3) CLOTHING/HOUSEHOLD ITEMS: Provides clothing for men, women and children, furniture, and small household items to those in need. Individuals must have a referral from a community agency for these services. - - 4) SUMMER CAMP 2018: Offers a week-long residential camp beginning July 4 for children ages 7-12 years. Camp is $25, family must meet income requirements. Applications available online on a first come, first serve basis, last day to enroll is June 18. Call for information. - - 5) HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE 2017: - THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS: Provides assistance with holiday gifts to families in need. Individuals can register starting Tues, Sept 5-Fri, Sept 15, Mon-Fri, 10AM-2PM at 7150 Columbia Gateway Drive, Suite J, 21046. Call 443-656-3376. Individuals should call before walking in. Will provide clothing, and gifts for children 12 years and under. Bring three gift suggestions (each gift suggestion should cost less than $35) for each child. Accepts food, new clothing, toys, toiletries, coats, gloves for Christmas. During this time, families can also register for Thanksgiving baskets. Unfortunately, it is not guaranteed that Thanksgiving baskets will be provided to applicants. - MUST have ALL of the following required documentation: - --Valid Maryland ID card - --SS cards for all household members - --Proof of all income sources (SS, SSI, SSD eligibility, Medicaid, pay stubs/DSS/child support, food stamp letter, TCA) - --Proof of expenses (current electric, gas, oil, water bills; car payment and insurance, etc) Only if they do not receive HUD, TCA, Section 8 or Medicaid eligibility letter. - --Proof of residence (current lease or mortgage, current or previous month for utility bill, Section 8, public housing or HUD) - --Must provide the paper including the break-down of family members, monthly rent and birth certificates for all children, ages 17 years and under - --Must know the clothing & shoe sizes, and 3 specific gift suggestions for all children.
