The group is designed to provide a safe, non-judgmental, confidential outlet for sharing with peers who have and are going through similar experiences. - - 3) EDUCATION AND PREVENTION SERVICES: Provides services designed to go outside the traditional boundaries of community outreach and increase the number of HIV positive African American men, women, and children accessing and maintaining primary medical care. Provides innovative educational and preventive services, as well as technical assistance to communities and faith based organizations. The services consist of workshops, trainings, and health fairs. Includes the Healthy Relationships program, a CDC approved 5 week curriculum based program providing gay men of all ages with HIV education, disclosure information, and safe sex practices and negotiations. - - 4) EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: MUST be HIV positive, Ryan White eligible.
