The Los Angeles Community Center offers a homeless shelter for single women, pregnant women, adults with jobs, large families, single mothers, and their children 17 or younger, and women younger than 18 can be accepted if they are legally emancipated. Disabled women are allowed if they can care for themselves and their children if they have any. They provide short or long-term shelter, from one month to two years. The Harvest Home provides shelter for pregnant women 18 and older in Los Angeles County. Pregnant women who are less than 32 weeks are eligible for the shelter. Women with children are not allowed.
