Description
New Directions for Veterans provides rent payment assistance, rent deposit assistance, and electric payment assistance. The program provides housing for homeless veterans, or veterans who are at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services include housing search assistance, personal financial counseling, job search/placement assistance, rental deposit assistance, rent payment assistance, and undesignated temporary financial assistance. The agency primarily assists the SPA 3 San Gabriel Valley area; however, there are no geographic restrictions.

Volunteer opportunities are also available.

Eligibility
Veterans must not have been dishonorably discharged, and must be homeless or at imminent risk of losing their housing. Income eligibility guidelines may apply.
