Description
The Foothill Utility Center provides free food to anyone who fits the criteria, including undocumented and/or homeless people.

The family food program provides items such as canned vegetables, produce, meat, beans, rice, macaroni, and dairy products. Assistance can only be received once a month, but people can return weekly for perishables (produce, dairy, and bakery items). The amount given is based on family sized and last from approximately a week to 10 days. Pet food is also available.

Home-delivered groceries can be arranged for older adults and people with disabilities.

Volunteers and donations are greatly appreciated.

Tuesday, 9:00am to 11:30am; Wednesday and Friday, 1:00pm to 3:30pm.

People and families who live in the service area (Altadena, Pasadena, and South Pasadena), including people who are undocumented and people who are homeless. Eligibility includes low-income requirements that are based on 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Services are restricted to Altadena, Arcadia, Azusa, Baldwin Park, Bradbury, Duarte, Irwindale, Monrovia, Pasadena, South Pasadena and Sierra Madre area residents.

Documents Required
First-time applicants have a face-to-face interview with staff; CADL or CAID for the head of household, ID for all family members, proof of residence and proof of income are required at the time of the interview. People who are homeless must provide identification.

The Friends in Deed offers free food to low-income residents in the greater Pasadena and Altadena areas. The groceries typically consist of items such as canned goods, cereal, rice, pasta, beans, juices, fruit, vegetables, bread, meat, protein foods, and others when available. Infant formula and baby food can is sometimes available.

Volunteers are appreciated.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 10:00am - 3:00pm, and Thursdays, from 10:00am - 1:00pm.

New registration for food pantry assistance is held daily between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

For low-income residents in the greater Pasadena and Altadena areas. Applicants must meet federal low-income guidelines. Services are restricted to Alhambra, Altadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, La Canada-Flintridge, La Crescenta, San Gabriel, San Marino and South Pasadena residents.

If a person does not have one, or more, of these requirements, that should not stop them from coming to get food. We will meet with each person and make sure they can get food that day.
