The Gage Health Center provides community and contract clinics for uninsured, low-income Los Angeles County residents of all ages. Fees are based on a sliding scale.

The clinic provides many types of medical care, including but not limited to the following:
General medical care
CHDP exams
Immunizations
Pre-natal care
STD screening and treatment.

CHDP provides regular health and developmental assessments for children birth to 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible, but for children's family whose income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level, they only exam children birth to 18 years old.

If anyone wants to help, there are volunteer opportunities available.

Eligibility
For people, uninsured, low-income, of all ages. Services are targeted, but not restricted, to Spanish-speaking residents of the Northeast Health District. There are no geographic restrictions. The applicant's household income must be at or below 134% of federal poverty guidelines, or who are GR recipients.

Services include adolescent/adult immunizations, child health and disability prevention examinations, community and contract clinic services, flu shot services, general medical care for uninsured and general relief recipients under the contract clinic program, general physical examinations, pregnancy testing services, sexually transmitted disease screening services and tuberculosis screening services.

The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.
