The clinics are also certified to provide the CHDP (Child Health and Disability Prevention Program) physical exams for children who are entering first grade and general medical care including TB tests and immunizations for children of low income families. CHDP provides regular, preventive health assessments and developmental assessments for children from birth to age 21 who are Medi-Cal eligible and for children from birth through age 18 whose family income is less than 200% of the federal poverty level. The check-ups are offered at set intervals and may include the required Head Start or State Preschool and pre-first grade exams.

Eligible contract clinic patients pay no fees. Limited financial assistance may also be available. Most immunizations for youth age 18 and younger are free. The fee for TB tests is $10. The fee for an eye exam is $35; eye exam and eyeglass frame packages begin at $125. Medi-Cal, Medicare, private insurance and Workers Compensation are accepted.

Dental service fees are set on a sliding scale based on ability to pay; proof of income is required.

The clinics provide bus tokens/taxi transportation to and from appointments when medically indicated for people who live within a 10 mile radius of the clinics.
