The Hollypark United Methodist Church offers free food to the less fortunate, including those who are homeless and/or undocumented. Food given typically includes canned goods, potatoes, and sometimes meat. Only one bag is given per family or person.
Every second Saturday, 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The Salvation Army of Compton provides no-cook food in the form of snack packs. Fruit, cereal and other snack foods are included in the snack packs. Ongoing emergency food assistance and a soup kitchen is also available. The service area for the no cook food and soup kitchen is restricted to Compton, Lynwood, Paramount and South Gate residents.
Hot meals are provided one night a week for families, couples and individuals who are homeless or without cooking facilities. The meal is prepared and served by members of neighborhood churches. People may receive this service as often as needed.
They also provide a bag of food once every 30 days that consists of canned goods and dry goods such as cereal and pasta.
Volunteer opportunities are also available.

The United American Indian Involvement provides a free food pantry and a soup kitchen for senior American Indians and Alaska Natives. The soup kitchen offers breakfast in the morning and lunch mid-afternoon.

The Seventh Day Adventist Church offers a food pantry for people in need. They can be helped with perishables once a month, but non-perishables are available five days a week.
Office hours are Tuesday, 9:00am to 12:00pm; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00pm to 6:30pm.
Perishable groceries are distributed every 4th Tuesday of the month, 9:00am to 11:00am. Non-perishable groceries are distributed Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Call to verify if food is available.
