The Wayside United Methodist Church offers free food for low-income individuals and families in Los Angeles County.
The typical bag of groceries contains canned goods, rice, beans, pasta, powdered milk, oats, dates, and juice. The amount given depends on family size and usually lasts about two to three days. Assistance can only be received once a month.
Intake and distribution is the second Saturday of the month, 9:00am to 11:00am. People can line up beginning at 7:00am.
For low-income families and individuals in Los Angeles County. People who are undocumented are also assisted. Services include ongoing emergency food assistance. There are no geographic restrictions.

The Amigos Sin Barreras provides free food for people with HIV/AIDS who live in the South Bay area.
The typical food items given are fruit, vegetables, juices, soup, canned tuna, pasta, and grains. The amount of food given depends on family size. Groceries typically last one to four weeks. Powdered milk and diapers may be available, if donations allow. The program caters to special dietary needs such as vegetarian, high-protein, low-salt, or low-fat. Services can only be received once a month.
A hot meal is served once a week.
Donations are appreciated.
