Description
The Our Savior Center offers free food to low-income people who live in the greater El Monte area. The program provides two bags of groceries that usually contains items such as rice, beans, milk, and produce. The amount given varies on family size but typically lasts for three to four days. Assistance can only be received twice a month.

Description
The Church of the Redeemer provides an ongoing free food program for the low-income, homeless, disabled, elderly, and those in an emergency need. A one time only food-assistance program is available to people who are homeless or are in need.

The agency provides a bag of groceries, which usually contains items such as canned goods, fruit, vegetables, rice, beans, bread, and juices. The food lasts approximately two or three days, and the amount of food varies on family size. Thanksgiving baskets are also provided for participants of the ongoing food program.

Donations and volunteers are greatly appreciated. The program provides assistance to over 150 families every month.

Intake hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Distribution hours are the last Saturday of each month, 7:00am to 9:00am.

The family food program provides items such as canned vegetables, produce, meat, beans, rice, macaroni, and dairy products. Assistance can only be received once a month, but people can return weekly for perishables (produce, dairy, and bakery items). The amount given is based on family sized and last from approximately a week to 10 days. Pet food is also available.

Home-delivered groceries can be arranged for older adults and people with disabilities.
