Description
The Glendale Community Services Center provides free food to those in need. Amount of food given depends on family size.

Homeless individuals and families receive sack lunches, and can only apply four times per month. Low-income individuals and families can apply every 30 days. Depending on need, exceptions can be made.

Infant formula, baby food, diapers, and milk can also be provided if needed.

Applicants who do not qualify as low-income or who live outside the geographical area served are given assistance one time only and are referred for services in their area.

Volunteers are appreciated.

Description
The St Charles Borromeo Service Center provides a food pantry where they give bags and boxes with enough food to last three days.

The soup kitchen offers a hot breakfast every Thursday.

There are volunteer opportunities available for anyone who wants to help.

Hours
Food Pantry Distribution: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9:00 - 11:45 am and Sundays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
No Saturday hours during the months of July and August.

Hot Breakfast: Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 am.

Eligibility
Individuals and families including the homeless and the undocumented that live within the parish boundaries that extend north to Victory Blvd., south to Mulholland Dr., east to Hollywood Way, and West to Laurel Canyon.

Persons living outside our boundaries may receive assistance one time.

Documents Required
ID for all family members and proof of residence are required. Individuals must certify that they meet the maximum income guidelines issued by the Emergency Food Assistance Program.

Eligibility
Low-income individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles County. Services are restricted to Service Planning Areas (SPAs) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8. People must make less than $1,700 per month.

Documents Required
ID, proof of residency in Los Angeles County, proof of income, and a nutrition screening completed by a dietician or medical provider at their own health care facility or have a signed nutrition education form from AIDS Project Los Angeles.

First-time clients must provide a medical diagnosis form.
