There are many homeless services in the Irvington, AL region, including shelters of all types, bathing facilities, and mail facilities. And, if you want to help, there are also volunteer opportunities available.
The Waterfront Rescue Mission INC. provides a 110-bed shelter to men in need in the Mobile area. Non-program guests can stay overnight each month with a $10 co-pay. Bad weather nights, plus five holidays are available at no cost to those without income. Guests who don't have income will be assessed on an individual basis to determine their needs.
