Description
Everyone with life struggles are welcome to The Care Center to visit with someone who cares. Services available include:Winter clothing for infants to adults, some new and some gently used, available at a minimal cost.Faith Community Nurses are available on most days for health screenings, questions, or concerns.Bicycles are available for a minimal price for adults looking for work or riding to and from a job. Bike Shop is open 11:30pm - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday, bike mechanics will assist owners with bike repairs.Clients can use the computers for resume and employment/job searching at no charge.Weekly programs include:9:30am - 11:00am, Wednesday - Women's Coffee Break and Men's Life Bible study groups (During the school year)12:00pm - 4:00pm, Thursday - staff from BRIDGES Employment Resource Center available to help job seekers find meaningful employment (ie. resume writing, interviewing skills, etc). 3:00pm - 5:00pm, Thursday - Transition to Transformed Bible Study lead by Center of Hope staff at the Bishop Dudley Hospitality HouseBasketball - Sports Night, held October - March on Sunday nights, for men 16 - 30; pick-up games are played along with a short Bible lesson and prayer.

Description
The Teddy Bear Den is an incentive and education based program for limited income pregnant teens, women and families. The goal is to promote healthier pregnancies, healthier babies and an overall healthier community.Those who qualify and participate in the programs may earn "teddy credits" which can be exchanged for new baby items, such as baby clothes, diapers, blankets, bottles, highchairs and strollers.Volunteers work hands on with the women enrolled in our program assisting them with registration, counting and spending their "teddy credits" or points, picking out new baby items and possibly carrying incentive items to their cars.
