When there isn't enough food to go around, there are food pantries that provide groceries and soup kitchens that serve up warm meals in the Douglas, AZ region to those in need.
Provides food to people in need. Includes one emergency food box per three-month period. Distributes baked goods, produce, and other food items each weekday morning behind the building, on first-come, first-served basis, until it is gone. Also distributes commodities. Includes nutrition information.
Provides assistance to people in need. Includes food boxes and clothing, and financial assistance for utilities. Also provides gasoline vouchers and shelter for travelers in emergency situations. Collaboration of Saint Luke's and Immaculate Conception Catholic Churches.
Provides shelter for men, women, and families who are homeless. Includes meals, showers, laundry, and case management. Also provides meals and food bags every weekday to people in need. Delivers meals to those who are homebound on a case-by-case basis.
Provides emergency food boxes to people in need who are referred by churches, DES or social service agencies. Limited to one per month, as long as supplies are available. Accepts self-referrals in emergencies only.
