Community Food Share also delivers the orders at no charge. Approximately 75% of the inventory is distributed through the agencies. OUR Child Care Center is the only licensed child care facility in Longmont offering a variety of scholarships that are accessible and affordable to all income levels. The Day Shelter is a multi-service program for homeless adults and those persons living in marginal situations. It provides clients with the following services: daily meal, emergency food, clothing, sleeping bags, blankets, transportation, personal care options (hygiene items, showers, and laundry), mail service, voicemail accounts, other basic survival resources, and referrals to related services such as job services, public assistance, and health care.When appropriate, assistance with obtaining identification will be provided. Contact for more information. Warming Shelter A building for the transient to stay warm when the weather is cold. The Warming Center is designed to prevent risk to persons from freezing temperatures. The Warming Center opens when the weather is forecast to be wet and 30 degrees or at subzero or the wind chill factor below zero. Three staff members are on the coordinating team. Volunteers who have received extensive training in boundary setting, mental health and substance abuse issues, safety, CPR and first aid assist. No families.
