There are many homeless services in the Charleston, SC region, including shelters of all types, bathing facilities, and mail facilities. And, if you want to help, there are also volunteer opportunities available.

*primary health care clinic : M, T, Th 8:30am-3:30pm for homeless,
*soup kitchen M-Sat 11:30am-12:30pm, Su 12:00pm-1:00pm,
*homeless shelter - men's shelter opens at 7:30pm and family center for women and children is open 24 hours. Fathers with children and married couples with children may stay at family center if room is available. Shelters provide breakfast and evening meals for residents. Every guest is assigned a case worker that helps form a plan to return to self-sufficiency with services that may include social work, mental health, medical clinic, legal services and substance abuse services.
