When there isn't enough food to go around, there are food pantries that provide groceries and soup kitchens that serve up warm meals in the Chandler, AZ region to those in need.
Offers monthly emergency food boxes, weekly supplement bags, infant food boxes, and holiday food boxes at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter for people in need.
Provides emergency food boxes to people referred by a CAP office, Chandler churches, schools, or social service agencies. Provides supplemental food boxes without referrals. The Family Resource Center provides parenting classes, NA meetings, early literacy programs, interactive play, fluoride treatments, and benefits coordination. Provides backpacks and school supplies for children in need. Provides Christmas gifts for children in need.
Provides assistance to individuals and families in need. Services include emergency food boxes, Project Service to Help Arizonans with Relief on Energy (SHARE) for electric and gas utility bill payment assistance, and financial assistance with first month's rent or eviction notices for people in need.
Distributes food boxes and clothing to people in need. Offers information about and referrals to available services. Prepares and serves evening meals. Assists with some prescription expenses.

Adults age 18 and older and children accompanied by an adult for meal service. East Valley residents age 18 and older and children accompanied by an adult for food boxes and clothing; must bring photo ID and proof of residence within 30 days.
