The Rental Deposit Loan Program (rdlp) Is Available To Eligible Households Who Are Working With The San Luis Obispo Housing Consortium And It's Member Agencies. This Is A Resource For Deposit Assistance. The Benefit Is Available As A Loan That Is To Be Repaid In Monthly Installments To Haslo.
Eligible Households (individuals And Households) Who:1. Meet The Definition Of "homeless" Per Requirements.2. Qualify As Low Income (under 80% Ami).3. Will Receive Case Management And Other Services From A Member Of The Consortium. Adults Families Females Males

Provides financial and other assistance to prevent eviction, maintain utility services, prevent homelessness, and provide meals. Services include: rental and utility assistance, temporary shelter, food/meals, transportation, and household goods.

Services available based upon financial need, reason for financial crisis, and an individual or families ability to make future payments. Must pass drug test and assistance available on a one time basis only.
The Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing Program (HPRP) is a collaboration between Bringing Our Community Home, Casa Esperanza, Catholic Charities, Legal Aid Foundation, Transition House, and the Rental Housing Mediation Task Force.The services offered are financial assistance for rent due, deposits, utilities, moving costs, help with locating housing, legal aid to inform people of their rights, and mediation to help prevent evictions.Santa Barbara County 2010 Very-Low Income Limits: (Household Size/Maximum Annual Income)
The services are available to people who have an income of 50% or less than the Area Median Income, (see chart in program description), and are at risk of becoming homeless, or are currently homeless, and have an eviction notice with their name on it. Case management is required of all participants.
