Food bank in downtown Boulder Provides the following services to persons in need living in Boulder: provides a food package once a month to any individual or family in need; distributes government food commodities on a monthly basis; helps locate and provide the necessary identification for persons needing to obtain necessary services; offers hospitality and informal support counseling in a non-sectarian manner by staff; and educates the community as to the needs of the poor.

Community Food Share also delivers the orders at no charge. Approximately 75% of the inventory is distributed through the agencies. Program Description: CFS operates direct distribution programs targeting those in poverty. Feeding Familes serves families with children in school who are enrolled in the free-lunch program. Elder Share serves very low-income seniors. Mobile Pantry delivers food on Saturdays to low-income areas. They also provide Emergency Food Boxes to anyone who comes to their door in need.
A food bank and clothing bank is offered. Counseling is also offered on an individual, group and family therapy. The food bank is open Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. The clothing bank is open Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on a first served basis. Counseling services are offered at no cost to the recipient.
