There are many homeless services in the Benton, AR region, including shelters of all types, bathing facilities, and mail facilities. And, if you want to help, there are also volunteer opportunities available.
The Center of Hope shelter operates a 61-bed emergency shelter that houses women and families. The check-in time for the shelter is 6:15pm and clients are to call daily after 4:30 pm to check for availability. The shelter provides the clients 2 meals daily at 6:30am and 5:30pm.
Resident is guaranteed 7 FREE consecutive nights if he/she follows the rules and guidelines of the shelter. Continued stay is dependent on resident's effort to fulfill the goals lay out in his/her case plan.
Client is expected to seek long-term, sustainable employment during his/her stay, attend at least one in-house recovery meeting. Life skills is also taught at the shelter and client is welcome to attend.
Once a client has obtained income, he or she could move into the transitional housing at a cost of $75/week or $3000/month.
Provides an emergency shelter for homeless men. At the shelter, the recipients are provided food, shelter, and rest.
The shelter offers 2 programs - Overnight Services and Resident Program.
The Overnight Services allows homeless men to stay up to 10 days each month. The stay could be extended if the homeless men show sign of overcoming their homelessness and improve their lives.
For the Resident Program, recipients could stay on-site for up to 12 months at no cost. This program is for homeless men who have a genuine interest to change their lives and overcome their homelessness.
