Family Emergency Center

Description
The Family Emergency Shelter is a 90-day program for homeless families. Serves eight to ten families (between 24 to 30 individuals at any given time). Anyone who stays must understand that the program is a step to permanent housing and employment. Whoever resides won't have to pay rent, utility bills, or for meals.

Residents receive weekly case management, employment search assistance in our in house computer lab, referrals to temporary rent subsidies programs, teach structure and life skills, in-house mental health and counseling, and assistance/referral with any other needed services or support.

Volunteer work and donations are also accepted.

Hours
9am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

The Women's Care Cottage provides shelter for young women and single mothers with children. The services provided are case management, counseling, and social and cultural activities. You must become a student or get employment while staying there. They assist with substance abuse recovery, job training and placement, and other helpful services.
