Description
The South Antelope Valley Emergency Services provides free groceries four times per fiscal year for families who don't qualify for food stamps or are waiting for food stamps to be approved. The Traditional Senior Food Program provides food once per month to seniors 62 and older who are on Social Security/SSI, have been denied food stamps, and live independently. The amount of food given is intended to significantly supplement the recipient's monthly food needs.

The Second Senior Food Program is for seniors 60+ that meet income guidelines and is available even if you live with extended family. The food order is provided once a month and the extended household can still participate in other eligible food programs.
